Here's how to make the most of it : Full DayIf visiting during the summer months (May - September), you'll find a variety of activities and attractions to enjoy - and nearly all of the tours you'll find in the Things to See & Do section of this site can be easily done in a day. In fact, you can often fit in more than one activity - and we highly recommend it!Half DayActivities you can do in half a day or less include hiking, biking and kayaking (guided or unguided), rainforest zipline tours, whale watching and wildlife viewing cruises, city sightseeing tours (including the Mendenhall Glacier and Visitor Center), Juneau Icefield flightseeing, trekking and dogsledding, the Mt. Robert's Tram and alpine hiking, and half-day sportfishing charters along with salmon hatchery, cannery, brewery, and botanical garden tours. Whew!
