Information Centers

Information centers provide maps of Juneau, guides, brochures, RV & camping information and more. Centers are located at the following locations:
  • Juneau Airport
  • Marine Park Kiosk -- seasonal at Marine Park Plaza (downtown)
  • Cruise Ship Terminal -- seasonal located near the Mt. Roberts Tram terminal (downtown)
  • Ferry Terminal (Auke Bay)

Campgrounds & RV Parks (shown as numbered triangles on the map)
  1. Eagle Beach State Recreation Area - 13.2 miles north of ferry terminal.
  2. Auke Village Campground - 1.5 miles north of ferry terminal.
  3. Auke Bay RV Park - 1.5 miles south of ferry terminal. No tents.
  4. Spruce Meadow RV Park - 3.7 miles south and east of ferry terminal.
  5. Mendenhall Lake Campground - 5 miles south and east of ferry terminal.
  6. Savikko Park RV Camping - 12 miles to downtown Harbormaster's office from ferry terminal for registration. Then, 2 miles to Douglas Harbor.

RV Parking Information

Downtown Juneau streets are narrow and can be difficult to navigate with an RV. Parking is limited. It is strongly recommended that RVers use the city bus to get to Juneau. Buses run daily between downtown, the Auke Bay/Valley area and Douglas. Schedules and downtown attraction maps are available at the information centers.
