St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church is the oldest original Russian Orthodox Church in Southeast Alaska. Its octagonal structure symbolizes the seven days of the week with an eighth day of rest. The church has a small but very active congregation. There are summer visitors hours and visitors are welcome to Sunday services year-round.
