The waterfront area begins access to Juneau's downtown docks where ships and float planes dock in the summer. The dock continues past Marine Park to the visitor's center located at #1 on the map. Along the way visit Patsy Ann (near the Juneau Public Library located at #3), a statue of Juneau's steam ship greeting bull terrier. In the 1930's Patsy Ann diligently greeted each ship to visit Juneau and was later dubbed as Juneau's official greeter.
