Eaglecrest Ski Area is located on Douglas Island just 12 miles from downtown Juneau, Alaska’s Capital City. Locals have known for years that the skiing and snowboarding at Eaglecrest is special. Eaglecrest is Juneau’s community owned ski area offering 4 chairlifts and over 640 acres of skiable terrain. For those interested in hiking for their turns, the ridges above Eaglecrest offer a variety of natural, ungroomed terrain. Facilities at Eaglecrest include a professionally staffed Snowsports School, a full-service Rental & Repair Shop, groomed Nordic trails, and the Grill at Eaglecrest.
