City Salon- In the Heart of Our Sea: Whales in Southeast Alaska, Past and Present

The City Museum is hosting a City Salon presentation on the history of whales and whaling on Tuesday October 29, 2019 from 6:30-8:00pm at the Mendenhall Valley Public Library. This event is FREE.

The City Museum, in partnership with NOAA Fisheries and Juneau Public Libraries, invites the public to attend a City Salon presentation to learn about Southeast Alaska's whaling history and modern efforts to better understand and protect whales through health investigations and whale- watching best practices. City Salon is a new program series in which the City Museum curates local presenters on a variety of themes relating to history and life in Juneau and Douglas.

This latest City Salon titled, In the Heart of Our Sea: Whales in Southeast Alaska, Past and Present will take place at the Mendenhall Public Library on October 29th from 6:30pm-8:00pm and will include presentations by NOAA Fisheries and the City Museum.
