Empty Bowls

The Staff and Board of The Glory Hall cordially invite you to Empty Bowls, the annual fundraiser for the center.

As you may know, the Glory Hall is a short-term, temporary emergency shelter for men, women, and children in Juneau. In addition to providing shelter, they are also a soup kitchen, pantry program, and care center. The Glory Hall is open 365 days a year and is the last safety barrier between hunger, cold and complete hopeless despair for many of those less fortunate among us. The center has been in operation since 1981 and is one of the oldest and most stable charitable organizations in Juneau.

Empty Bowls is a true community fundraiser. Local restaurants donate soup, the Breeze In provides fresh baked breads and deliciously-prepared salads and local artisans donate beautifully crafted bowls. Plus, COOKIES!

Music provided by Full Circle Music and Aurora Strings.

There will be a silent auction, dessert auction, and Alaska Probiotics kombucha available for purchase.

Please join us on April 26th for delicious soups, fresh-baked bread, and everyone takes home a gorgeous, handcrafted bowl.

Tickets available online at jahc.org or in-person at The JACC and Hearthside Books.
