Mountainside: Open Mic & Art Night
After a long absence, Mountainside Open Mic & Art Night is back for six weeks this spring! Join us Wednesday nights (and one Saturday afternoon during Alaska Folk Festival!) for music and crayons and creativity. All ages welcome.
The event is free, though we finish every week with a featured artist that we support with enthusiastic community donations, so come prepared. Featured artists this season:
- 3/15 - Lisa Puananimohala'ikalani Denny
- 3/22 - Erin Heist
- 3/29 - Sunny Porch
- 4/05 - Dara Rilatos
- 4/19 - Nicole Church

During Alaska Folk Festival week, we'll congregate on Satuday 4/15 at 3pm instead of Wednesday night for the AFF Songwriter Showcase -- three hours of open mic, all original songs.
We can't wait to see you back again for Mountainside!

- Want to learn to run sound or help with setup / teardown? Email mountainsideopenmic@sent.com, we are looking for volunteers and sound interns every week.
- We encourage art and crafting while listening. Visual artists, bring any art supplies within reason and go for it; please respect your neighbors' space and clean up after.
