Juneau Arts and Humanities Council

The Juneau Arts and Humanities Council (JAHC) enters its 50th year of providing cultural opportunities for the community of Juneau. As the formal arts agency for the Capital City, JAHC annually presents a performing arts and cultural concert series, artists markets, offers scholarships and grants, curates monthly exhibits in the JAHC gallery, administers arts-in-education programs for youth, and serves as a supporter and resource for artists and other arts organizations in Juneau. Description Conveniently located downtown within walking distance of the Capitol, hotels, and restaurants, JACC offers a large open space suitable for meetings, exhibits, concerts, lectures, dances, festivals, and more. Its Gallery, featuring exhibits of local art, provides space for up to 50, depending on the configuration. Its friendly staff goes out of its way to make events a success. The facility includes a Lobby Shop featuring local arts and crafts - making shopping easy.

Space Notes Equipped with tables and chairs for banquets, classroom-style meetings, exhibit booths, and cabaret-style gatherings, the facility has a 7 ft grand piano, sound, stages, linens, free wifi, tents for outdoor gatherings, a basic (non-DEC approved) kitchen and a variety of equipment to help make this an easy place for work or fun gatherings.
