Your 10-day prize itinerary includes options for:

- A two-day scenic overnight trip to Gustavus, the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park

Trip Itinerary Overview*
- Day One
- Fly to Juneau, Alaska and check into your centrally located hotel.
- Day Two
- Take the morning to explore historic downtown shops, businesses, and museums. Visit one of our great restaurants or food trucks
- Enjoy an afternoon on the water fishing for the fresh fish in season with Juneau Charters. Keep an eye out for amazing marine wildlife like humpback whales, Stellar sea lions, and harbor seals.
- Head to midtown Juneau for your VIP tour of the Alaskan Brewing Company facility and a guided beer tasting in the Tasting Room.
- Day Three
- Wake up and enjoy a ¾-day excursion with Above and Beyond Alaska with a scenic float plane flight to the Norris glacier where you will packraft to the shore. Don crampons and trek across the glacier with your guide before flying back to Juneau over the icefield.
- Check out the Mendenhall Glacier with the Juneau Tours and Whale Watch for their Whale Watch and Mendenhall Glacier combo trip – a great way to see two of the top sights in Juneau.
- Day Four
- Ride the Goldbelt Tram up Mount Roberts where you will have time to hike, watch an award-winning film about Alaskan Natives, see totem pole carving, and enjoy an eagle-eye view of downtown Juneau and Douglas Island below.
- Get to know Juneau with a happy belly! Take a walking tour with Juneau Food Tours and explore all the tastes and delicacies that Juneau has to offer from king crab to smoked salmon, spruce tip jelly to blueberry mojitos.
- Enjoy a little down time and get some culture! Walk the Kootéeyaa Deiyí (totem pole trail) on the seawalk all the way to the full-size whale statue at Bill Overstreet Park. Muse over the exhibits at the world-class Alaska State Museum and Archives or check out Juneau’s mining heritage at the Juneau-Douglas City Museum (don’t miss the Free Little Art Gallery outside). Check out the 3-D totem pole at Sealaska’s Heritage Square and see if artists are working in the workshops. Cross over Heritage Street and get a ticket to the Walter Soboleff Building to view the full-size, handcrafted clan house. Step into one of Juneau’s many watering holes or restaurants to recharge.
- Day Five
- Take a unique, accessible tour experience with Glacier Gardens. Their guides will pick you up from their botanical garden and take you through the rainforest up to 500 ft. elevation to a beautiful viewing area before returning you back to the beautifully maintained botanical garden.
- Juneau is the gateway to Glacier Bay National Park. Take an afternoon flight up to Gustavus, Alaska and spend the night at a stunning, hand-crafted lodge, the Bear Track Inn.
- Day Six
- Experience the grandeur and beauty of Glacier Bay National Park aboard a high-speed vessel. This all-day cruise shows the best of what Glacier Bay has to offer. See massive glaciers up close and observe abundant wildlife. Relax one more night at the Bear Track Inn before flying back to your Juneau home base.
- Day Seven
- Fly back to Juneau by seaplane and then join Juneau Lighthouse Tours for world-class whale watching. Then enjoy the only lighthouse tour in Southeast Alaska. See how and where the lighthouse keeper lived and worked in the early part of the last century on a hard-to-reach island.
- Spend the afternoon with the folks at Chum Fun Charters for seasonal shoreside fishing.
- Day Eight
- Find your zen with Cindee at Breathe Alaska. A short hike through the Rainforest to a sheltered beach will teach you about local native plants and help you learn to connect your breath with the land and finish up with a healthy salad for lunch at the Crystal Saloon.
- Challenge yourself during the early evening with a 3-hour tour on a jet ski with Dangerous Water Adventures. Experience the exhilaration of jet skiing in Lynn Canal and seeing marine life in the wild.
- Day Nine
- Start your day with Cycle Alaska for a relaxed, guided bike ride in the Tongass Rainforest complete with Mendenhall glacier views and a tasting of Alaska beers.
- Enjoy a window seat on a seaplane with Wings Airway for glacier flightseeing, the remote and historic private Taku Glacier Lodge, wilderness trails, wildlife, and to top it off a scrumptious wild Alaska salmon feast. Escape into the true Alaskan wilderness within minutes of leaving downtown Juneau to Taku Glacier Lodge which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Day Ten
- Soak up the last moments of your Alaskan adventure before boarding your flight home.
