From misty rainforest trails and ocean-side roads, Juneau, Alaska hosts a standout lineup of summer running and endurance events that combine serious athletic challenge with our unforgettable location.

 The season kicks off in late May with Oxygen Edge: Triathlete Power Retreat hosted by Breathe Alaska. Oxygen Edge is a running and wellness experience designed for bringing breathwork, connection, restoration, and movement to maximize the power within you for a competitive edge.

Late June brings the iconic Juneau Ridge Race, a demanding point-to-point mountain run with steep climbs, technical terrain, and sweeping views of the Tongass National Forest and Gastineau Channel.

Looking for a certified Boston Marathon qualifier? In July, the Juneau Marathon and Half Marathon offers a fast, scenic course drawing runners from across the country. Enter today!

The summer season wraps up in early August with the Aukeman Triathlon, a beloved local race featuring an open-water swim, challenging bike course, and run through Juneau’s dramatic landscape.
