Juneau Food Tours is owned and operated by Midgi Moore, local food writer and blogger. Immersed in the culinary scene of Alaska, Midgi endeavors to share the tasty side of the 49th state. Juneau is a beautiful and historic city. Easily walkable, the downtown area hosts some of the best seafood and Alaskan flavors one can imagine. A leisurely 2.5 hour stroll provides guests with colorful history and insights into the capital city of the “Last Frontier.” We like to say we feed your mind and your belly. The tour includes 9 tastings, 7 locations, a gift bag, and a whole lot of fun history. Tastings focus on Alaska's sustainable seafood, as well as highlighting local chefs and restaurateurs. This is real Alaskan food by real Alaskans. The delicious fare participants enjoy on the tour is locally sourced and showcases the bounty of Juneau’s waters.
